The Development - Shangri-La

This residential
development shall consist of eight 2 and 3 bedroom houses, each
with a floor plan of between 1,500 to 2,200 square feet of living
space. Large balconies and ideally-placed patios will allow residents
to fully enjoy the perks of living in a tropical climate, and
the wide doors and abundance of windows will guarantee a breezy,
naturally ventilated interior.
Finished connections to various services will also be included as
part of the development and these shall include water, power, telephone,
fax, cable TV, and internet access. For aesthetic appeal and safety,
all infrastructure for these services will be located underground,
for it is the aim of our development team to eliminate the unsightly
running of overhead wires and so preserve the beauty of SHANGRI-LA's
natural environment. All houses will be wired to accommodate the
installation and easy activation of an electronic security system.
Each residence will also be equipped with a solar water heating
system, 2 water stage tanks, and a concealed utility area.
Each of the eight lots will be elegantly fenced and gated, and impressive
gabion retaining walls, with their traditional rustic characteristics,
will be constructed to naturally complement the gently-tumbling gradient
of the area.
Beautiful, island-inspired landscaping will be designed both within
and outside the fence lines, and this will greatly contribute to
the enhanced value of the SHANGRI-LA development. Many of the original
trees which have shaded these slopes for decades will be preserved,
and though architecturally similar in house design, each lot will
boast a unique garden layout of specially-selected tropical shrubs,
flowers and trees. All roads and driveways are to consist of reinforced
concrete surfaces.
